Until you've visited Yad LaKashish: Lifeline for the Old, your tour of Jerusalem is not complete. Come spend time with our elderly and disabled artisans, and share stories and smiles along the way.
"Tzedakah in Action" is the hallmark of our work which you are invited to see for yourself, and it is here where the Jewish tradition of honoring the elderly comes to life - not just in word but in deed.
Yad LaKashish: Lifeline for the Old hosts youth groups, missions from federations, synagogues, churches, schools, religious groups, professional missions, families and individuals from around the world.
Our workshops are open for tours from Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
"Our group is still talking about the amazing visit we had to Yad LaKashish: Lifeline for the Old. It was a hugely wonderful experience for us - and I will recommend to anyone I know traveling to Israel to make a point of visiting you!"
-Cantor Patrice Kaplan, Temple Sholom in Broomall, PA
"You know that Bet Shalom would not bring a group to Eretz Yisrael without a visit to Yad LaKashish: Lifeline for the Old. It would not be a legitimate mission!"
- Rabbi Norman Cohen, Congregation Bet Shalom, Minnetonka, MA
"My visit to Lifeline had an everlasting effect on my attitudes."
-Judy Rattner, Knoxville, TN
