Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County has formed a special relationship with the elderly. They have integrated into their curriculum activities which encourage intergenerational connections and understanding through frequent volunteer projects with the elderly in their community, and an annual visit to Yad LaKashish during their Israel trip. In addition. they have designated Yad LaKashish as one of the school's tzedaka projects for which the students raise funds throughout the year.
